I’ve been experiencing TMJ symptoms along with ETD symptoms for years however within the past year and a half it has become debilitating some days. I even resorted in ear tube surgery which was of no help. I finally found Dr. Hillman and after only 4 sessions I feel like a new person. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and his approach is gentle yet very effective. I’m so grateful to have found him as I was becoming hopeless in thinking this was just something I would have to live with for the rest of my life. Highly recommend Dr. Hillman for anyone dealing with chronic facial pain!

I highly recommend Dr. Hillman at Gate City Physio! I have suffered from TMJ disorder, jaw and neck pain, and headaches for over a year. From when I started receiving treatment in March 2026 to now, I have seen tremendous improvement due to the hands on care and the very personalized approach that Gate City Physio provides! I thought that I was never going to see any improvement or get better, but I can truly say that choosing this provider for my head, neck, and TMJ needs has been the best decision. Dr. Hillman takes the time to truly get to know you in order to provide the most fitting care to each of his clients, and I am truly so thankful for Gate City Physio! If you have experienced being told that your symptoms are normal, that there is no fix, or maybe even offered a temporary "bandage," I can say from experience that Gate City Physio would be a great fit for you!

Dr. Hillman has a healer’s heart — you feel it immediately. I personally sought his help for the emotional stress of my profession and the physical impact it was having on my health. As a practitioner myself, I found his approach deeply aligned with the needs of many of my patients. I refer to him because of his expertise with complex issues such as migraines and his thoughtful, non-pharmaceutical approach to care. I would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for supportive, integrative care.

Corey is one of the best care workers I’ve ever worked with. He listened carefully and tailored a plan based on how I build habits and the progress I was making. I loved how he gave detailed and easy to understand explanations of the why behind the exercises he gave me. His therapy room is quiet and calming. This was a great experience and I’d recommend Corey to other folks experience chronic migraine.

If there were 10 stars I would choose all 10. Dr. Hillman (Corey) is amazing. I had surgery for my TMJ about 30 years ago and until 4 years ago did very well. I had a TMJ specialist in Raleigh recommend Gate City Physio for physical therapy and I had no idea we had a physical therapist right here in Greensboro who specializes in headaches and TMJ issues (as well as other head and neck problems)! He is amazing. I have learned so much, he is so patient and knowledgeable, and experienced. I also appreciate the fact he wants his clients to be able to do the exercises and “work” on their own if able which then helps with the cost. I know this may be a long journey at my age, I can’t go out and just “buy” a new temporal mandibular joint so I am thankful Corey is committed to increasing the functionality and comfort of the two I have😊. If you’re seeking relief with headaches or TMJ issues other than relying on mediation and surgery, you’ll be pleased with Dr. Corey Hillman and Gate City Physio.
